During the last year (2006) several successful events have been held at the Gildhouse, including an exhibition of christening gowns, a very successful concert by Amorata (a group of singers from Bristol), a craft fair and pumpkin festival as well as Harvest lunch and cream teas. 2006 News Stories December 2006: Gildhouse Launch Night! On Friday 1st December an evening was held to celebrate the successful lottery funding bid and to launch the project ahead of work starting in Spring 2007. October 2006: HLF bid successful! After four years hard work by the working group, we have been successful in getting a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Click the link for the full story. |
